Dartmouth Broadcasting began in the Nineteen Twenties with the objectives of some Dartmouth college students that determined to give a new era known as radio a strive. the primary broadcast occurred over copper wires related in all of the dorms. The station used the call letters WDBS (Dartmouth Broadcasting gadget). The call changed to WDCR (Dartmouth college Radio) whilst it became an officially licensed station of the Federal Communications fee and its first official broadcast at 1340 AM became in 1958. Dartmouth Broadcasting started officially running WFRD (FM Radio at Dartmouth) 99.3 FM in 1976.
