HWD Hospital Radio is the TV name of The Heavy Woolen District Hospital Broadcasts Association – an enrolled philanthropy.
The station is staffed and run completely by volunteers and gets no standard wage in the way that business radio stations or organizations do. On the other hand, we have overheads, repairs and progressing expenses which must be paid for from our own stores, so raising money is basic.
