Radio Indígena is a community project that started in 2014 and is training community members to be radio broadcasters. Our radio will play music and share information in indigenous languages (Mixteco, Zapoteco, Triqui, and more) for those who live and work in Oxnard, California, and around the world. All our effort is towards the construction of a radio station that will serve to improve our community and to give the indigenous community and their children a creative opportunity.
