Public Radio East is a nonprofit, non-industrial broadcasting company, certified to the Board of Trustees of Craven network university in New Bern, North Carolina. at first hooked up in 1984 as WTEB-89.3FM, Public Radio East now broadcasts 24 hours a day on 5 frequencies, divided into two entire program networks. Broadcast studios are positioned in Barker hall at the campus of Craven community university.
