In September 1996, West Coast Radio launched 97.3FM with an ID of ‘Coast FM’. The name clearly indicates our location as well as the lifestyle of the people to whom we are broadcasting. 97.3 Coast FM is targeted at young adults 18–39, with its primary target audience being 25-39 year old.
